Leadership

Drill & Deportment

Drill builds timing, discipline, confidence, bearing, and pride in personal standards while teaching cadets how to work together with precision.

Fitness & Resilience

Cadets take part in physical and active training that helps build endurance, resilience, self-discipline, and a healthy approach to challenge.

Training nights are organized and purposeful. Cadets work through instruction, team activities, standards, and development opportunities in a setting built around progress and participation.

Cadet training does not stop at weekly parade nights. Cadets can also pursue additional opportunities through summer training and specialized courses offered through Cadet Training Centres and related programming.

Summer training can expose cadets to new environments, advanced instruction, and development opportunities beyond the corps. These experiences help cadets broaden their skills, build independence, and continue progressing in the program.
Cadets may have access to different Cadet Training Centre opportunities depending on eligibility, availability, and course offerings. These can provide concentrated training, leadership development, and memorable summer experiences with cadets from across the region.
Depending on their level and opportunities available, cadets may be introduced to more advanced instruction in leadership, fitness, fieldcraft, instructional techniques, teamwork, and other development-focused areas that support long-term growth in the program.
These additional experiences help cadets grow in confidence, maturity, and capability. They also give cadets something to work toward, adding motivation and excitement to their journey at 2754.
